科学的には証明できない生命エネルギーや存在（神や天使、大いなるもの）を肯定し、霊性の向上を目的とした活動全般のこと。またはそのような哲学や思想など。スピリチュアルなセラピーとして、オラクルカード、オーラリーディング、チャネリング、透視、波動調整、エネルギーヒーリングなどがある。営利目的だけの宗教家やヒーラーも存在するため、セッションを受ける際には、セラピストの選び方に注意が必要。
